Rihanna And Ciara’s Twitter War

28 February, 2011 - A row has erupted on Twitter after Ciara declared in a TV interview that Rihanna “wasn’t the nicest”.

"I ran into her recently at a party and she wasn't the nicest," Ciara told US show Fashion Police. "It's crazy because I've always loved and respected what she's done with fashion and I've ran into her before but this time it wasn't the most pleasant run-in."

The Only Girl In The World star wasn’t best pleased to be talked about like that and confronted Ciara on Twitter straight after the show had aired. "My bad ci, did I forget to tip u? "howrudeofme"

Ciara was quick to retaliate: "Trust me Rhianna u dont want to see me on or off stage." The What’s My Name singer replied: "U gangsta huh? Haaa. Good luck with bookin that stage u speak of."
But thankfully, the ladies have since kissed and made up, on Twitter at least. It was Rihanna who made the first move: "Ciara baby, I love u girl! You hurt my feelings real bad on TV! I’m heartbroken! That’s y I retaliated this way! So sorry! "letsmakeup."

Ciara then offered her own olive branch – but stopped short of apologising – and suggested they meet in person to sort things out in private: "Rhi u know it’s always been love since day 1! Doing shows/everything. You threw me off in that party! Apology accepted. Let's chat in person."
Both singers are exes of Chris Brown, which might explain some of the bad feeling between them. We’re pretty sure Rihanna didn’t appreciate having her name misspelt either…

Rihanna to be in 'The Bodyguard' remake?

Singer Rihanna has been tipped to take Whitney Houston's role in the remake of 1992's " The Bodyguard".

The 23-year-old is said to be on Warner Bros' shortlist to play Rachel Marron, as are Taylor Swift, 21, and Miley Cyrus, 18, reports dailystar.

"We think she is a name people will go for to see the movie," said a source.

Newly Leaked Pictures Of Rihanna Assault

Previously unreleased pictures of a bruised and battered Rihanna have emerged and are on display on various gossip websites. The leaked images come just as Rihanna's restraining order against her assaulter/ex-boyfriend Chris Brown has been eased.
Brown, who has a new album coming out next month, pled guilty to the assault and was sentenced to community service. On Twitter, Brown called the timing of the release "ironic," adding "I guess that's supposed to be strategic chess move. Unbelievable."

The newly leaked photos were reportedly taken at a hospital where RiRi was treated after her fight with Breezy, according to acesshowbiz.com. One picture shows the "S&M" singer with bruises on her forehead, eyes and cheeks. Her right eye and cheek are badly swollen. Another picture gives a closer look at her injured lips.

Brown's new album F.A.M.E. is due for release on March 18 and features collaborations with the likes of Justin Bieber and Ludacris.

Rihanna and Colin Farrell an item?

Bad boy Hollywood A-lister, Colin Farrell has worked his charm on Barbadian songstress, Rihanna.

According to The Sun, Rihanna has continuously been texting him since they met on the set of The Graham Norton Show before Christmas.

A clip of the chat show featured Farrell paying a compliment to Rihanna's slender limbs. He said: "They are very nice limbs. There's probably a reason I mentioned them, I had to get them off my mind."

The conversation then turned to Rihanna discussing a wax treatment that had Farrell looking very excited.

A source close to Farrell claimed that the infamous Colin, who is known for being charming, was taken aback by some of Rihanna's flirty SMS texts, but he said that there was no harm since they are both single.

Colin Farrell's previous relationship with Alicja Bachleda-Curus ended last month. The two have a 16-month-old son, Henry.

The R&B chart-topper and Irish playboy have plans to meet when their schedules allow. The two have made headlines for other reasons too.

Farrell had starred in a leaked sex video tape and Rihanna's latest music video, "Te Amo", was controversial for the scenes that showed two women kissing each other.

"'S&M' is my favourite video I've ever done, and I can't wait to keep making more incredible videos and beating them out every time. 'S&M' is going to be a hard one to beat."
Discussing her upcoming world tour with Cee Lo Green, she confessed: "I'm really excited about [it]. We're just starting to put it together, and it's going to be even bigger than my last tour which I didn't think [was possible]. The 'Loud' tour is going to be special.

As Rihanna Bails, Others Step In

The pop singer Rihanna isn't exactly making many friends on the benefit circuit. Two weeks ago she canceled on a cancer fund-raiser in Los Angeles and Cee-Lo Green stepped in at the last minute.

On Saturday, she was meant to perform at yet another fund-raiser in Palm Beach, this for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund, at Mar-a-Lago with Donald and Melania Trump watching. But at the last minute, the singer canceled yet again, still blaming bronchitis, and Jennifer Hudson stepped in.
Apparently, Rihanna had enough energy to celebrate her birthday on Saturday at the CAA building at a party for All-Star Weekend and the Two Kings charity in Los Angeles with Ciara, Drake, Jamie Foxx, Vin Diesel and Ryan Phillippe. Just after midnight, a spokeswoman for the event said that Rihanna and Jay-Z celebrated her 23rd birthday with a shot as the DJ played her new single "What's My Name."

Despite the lack of a certain pop star, much of New York was down in the Palm Beach area: Dylan Lauren signed her new book in South Beach; Jill Kargman signed hers, "Sometimes I Feel Like a Nut," at the Chanel store on Worth Avenue in Palm Beach, and the artist Andrew Levitas showed a slew of his new Florida-based photographs at the Arcature Fine Art gallery across from the Chanel boutique.

Even the cheapest seats cost 2,000 dollars each.

The in-demand singer recently released her fifth studio album, Loud, to commercial and critical acclaim. Fresh from her celebrated recent performances at the Grammy Awards, the BRIT Awards in the UK and the NBA All-Star game over the weekend, the 23-year-old has revealed her plans for a tour which will also feature a special guest.

"Cee Lo is coming on the road with me which is really, really exciting. Having him on tour with me will be amazing. It's gonna be even bigger than my last tour, which I didn't think it could get any better. I told Cee Lo he has to bring the Muppets and Gwyneth Paltrow,” she told Extra.
The star also commented on the recent controversy surrounding her latest single release, S&M. The music video has been criticised for its overtly sexual themes and has been banned in many countries in South Asia. However, Rihanna believes the furore has had a positive effect on the video’s reception.

"I think the ban worked out. I don't think people would've been that curious if there wasn't some controversy involved or connected to it. S&M is my favourite video that I've ever, ever, ever done. I can't wait to keep making more incredible videos and beatin' them out every time. S&M is gonna be a hard one to beat."

Rihanna on Touring with Cee Lo and the 'S&M' Video

Pumped after her halftime performance at the NBA All-Star game Saturday, singer Rihanna talked exclusively with "Extra's" Adrianna Costa about her upcoming concert tour, crushing on Gwyneth Paltrow -- and the controversy surrounding her racy "S&M" music video.

On her "Loud" tour, Rihanna gushed, "Cee Lo is coming on the road with me which is really, really exciting. Having him on tour with me will be amazing. It's gonna be even bigger than my last tour, which I didn't think it could get any better. I told Cee Lo he has to bring the Muppets and Gwyneth Paltrow."

Rihanna added, "I love her. She's got the baddest shoe game in the business!"

The singer also commented on her "S&M" video, which has been banned in 11 countries for its sexual content. "I think the ban worked out," laughed RiRi. "I don't think people would've been that curious if there wasn't some controversy involved or connected to it. 'S&M' is my favorite video that I've ever, ever, ever done. I can't wait to keep making more incredible videos and beatin' them out every time. 'S&M is gonna be a hard one to beat.'"

Rihanna's snub can't bode well for Trump's presidential hopes

It didn't take long for the first crisis to happen in Donald Trump's pretend-presidential bid.

"If I run and if I win, this country will be respected again," Trump said this month at the Conservative Political Action Conference gathering in Washington.

Trump has been pitching hard, trying to persuade people that he ought to be a serious contender in The Reagan Apprentice, a reality show better known as the Republican presidential primary.
"I've beaten many people and companies, and I've won many wars," Trump told the CPAC crowd.

And a President Trump would continue the beatings, he promised:

He would vanquish the Somali pirates with "one good admiral and a couple of good ships," he said. He'd raise taxes on other countries instead of American citizens. And he'd thwart international disrespect at every turn.

"The United States has become a whipping post for the rest of the world," Trump said. "The world is treating us without respect."

Made-for-TV candidacy

Clearly, the respect angle is very big with Trump, who has said he will decide whether to run by June.

This dovetails nicely with the upcoming season of his TV show, The Celebrity Apprentice.

The presidential announcement might be envisioned as a ratings booster as Trump tries to echo Le-Bron James, who turned his contract announcement into a TV show last year.

Trump probably imagines a national moment of rapt attention as he announces whether he will take his talents to Washington .

But there's already a problem with the script. Within a week of his big-stick CPAC speech, Trump was served up a steaming hot bowl of disrespect at the future site of his Winter White House.

Superstar singer Rihanna, who was booked for months to sing for Trump and others at a gala at Palm Beach's Mar-a-Lago on Saturday night, canceled that morning, claiming to have bronchitis, according to The Palm Beach Post's Jose Lambiet.

But Rihanna was actually spending the weekend in Southern California, where she was pushing her new fragrance, Reb'l Fleur, at Macy's and doing some full-throated singing as part of the halftime show at Sunday night's NBA All-Star Game.

How could this be?

Who'd be next? OPEC or Lil' Kim?

A week earlier, Pretend-President Trump had told CPAC he would lower oil prices by simply getting Middle East oil producers on the phone and telling them, "That price better get lower, and it better get lower fast."

I would think if he could control the price of Arab oil with the sound of his voice, he certainly could have restored respect to Mar-a-Lago by getting the foreign-born Rihanna on the phone Saturday morning and saying, "That bronchitis you don't really have better get cured, and it better get cured fast."

But now it looks like Trump is capable of getting pushed around by a 23-year-old female pop star from Barbados.

"For Rihanna to go to the All-Star Game and perform after she told us she was sick, that is just a lack of respect," Trump told Lambiet.

Yes, a lack of respect.

Just the sort of thing President Trump was supposed to cure.

The pretend-campaign is off to a bad start.

For now, we can only imagine that a Trump-led America not only stands to get disrespected by OPEC, China and Mexico, but by Missy Elliott, Da Brat and Lil' Kim .

Rihanna rocks celeb-studded NBA All-Star game

With a celebrity-studded crowd looking on, rocked the halftime show at the NBA All-Star game on her 23rd birthday.

She had other big names helping her sing her hits Sunday, with joining in on “What’s My Name?” and working “happy birthday” into the lyrics. Dripping in gold chains, a red-clad came out for “All of the Lights,” which is off his latest album but features .
The red-haired singer soon shed her short black suit jacket and white scarf to reveal a short black skirt and a rhinestone halter. She shimmied her way through “Only Girl (In the World)” and didn’t flinch when her huge hoop earring fell off her left ear in mid-song.

Beyonce and hubby sat courtside, with (MVP of Friday’s All-Star celebrity game) two seats away. Sean “Diddy” Combs, (wearing headphones), Grammy winner , , , , and “American Idol” judge were scattered around the arena. Rapper snacked on pink cotton candy. Later, sat courtside next to 16-year-old Bieber, making for a striking contrast between her flaming long hair and his famous shaggy ‘do.

Among the movie and TV stars in attendance were Dustin Hoffman, Spike Lee, Warren Beatty, Rick Fox and girlfriend-actress Eliza Dushku, and Nick Cannon (without wife Mariah Carey). CNN talk show host Piers Morgan furiously worked his cell phone during most of the action.

Snoop Dogg, Terrell Owens, Chris Tucker, tennis star Venus Williams, and actors Forest Whitaker, Noah Wyle and Ellen Pompeo took in the show, too. Los Angeles Lakers fan Jack Nicholson was bumped out of his usual courtside seat.

While Howard and many of the other arriving NBA players dressed up in suits and ties, Lakers star Bryant dressed down in jeans and a black leather jacket. ap

Rihanna Wears Another Raunchy Outfit!

Rihanna has flashed the flesh for Kanye West's new video, All The Lights.

The Barbadian beauty is causing controversy again after she was asked to "tone down" her performance at The BRIT Awards 2011, and has now appeared in Yeezy's promo wearing nothing but a tiny top made of a few straps of material over her boobs.
RiRi, whose saucy S&M promo has been banned in no fewer than eleven counties, teams the skimpy top with a belt, as she dances seductively wearing only a thin piece of fabric over her nipples.

The 23-year old features on the track alongside West and guest vocalists Alicia Keys, Fergie, John Legend, The-Dream and La Roux - while rapper Kid Cudi appears in the video.

Last night, Rihanna also performed the song on her birthday with Kanye at the NBA All Star game in LA, wearing another raunchy outfit - consisting of a short, black tasseled skirt, fish-net tights and a sparkly top.

The likes of Jay-Z and wife Beyoncé, Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj were also present at the game, with Drake joining RiRi on stage for a birthday-themed rendition of their hit duet, What's My Name.

Rihanna Sued by Photographer David LaChapelle Over "S&M" Video

Rihanna's distorted Dionysian sexual decadence themed music video for "S&M" has been under prudent America's scrutiny magnifying glass since its release earlier this month, and aside from being the topic of "controversy" and "outrage," has now become suspect in a lawsuit filed by famed photographer David LaChapelle.

According to LaChapelle, the Rihanna camp shanghaied, or as put by the plaintiff party, "directly derived" concepts from a collection of eight photos taken by the aforementioned LaChapelle. More specifically, the lawsuit states that the “composition, total concept, feel, tone, mood, theme, colors, props, settings, decors, wardrobe and lighting of his work" were all unlawfully copied for the video.

The only thing I really know about this LaChapelle fellow is when he cameoed on Ondi Timoner's Rockumentary Dig! to shoot the video for The Dandy Warhols' song "Not If You Were The Last Junkie On Earth," and if I recall correctly, he was a huge doucher throughout his little flicker on the scene.

The Umbrella singer, 22, who is due to perform at tonight’s Brits, certainly turned heads at the star-studded awards in Los Angeles on Sunday – thanks to her revealing Jean Paul Gaultier gown.

Rihanna then changed into another flesh-flashing outfit to perform live with Eminem and Drake. But although she looked great, she didn’t feel it. Rihanna has been diagnosed with laryngitis and bronchitis and ordered not to talk for 24 hours – or risk having to pull out of the Brits at London’s O2 Arena, shown tonight on ITV1.

A source said: “She’s really ill. It’s touch and go about the Brits. She has a doctor on standby for vitamin shots in her bum and she’s been ordered to limit talking, which is difficult as she does like a good natter.”
