Rihanna & Drake: Canadian Dinner Date

Making time for each other, Rihanna and Drake were seen out and about in Montreal, Canada last night (June 12).

The “Russian Roulette” songstress and her handsome beau made sure to leave their hotel separately and met up at Buonanotte Restaurant for some tasty eats.

Last week, Rihanna brought Drake out onstage to sing a duet of their hit song “What’s My Name?” and even let him sing a few of his own tunes.

Other than that, Ri-Ri has been dealing with the controversy surrounding her recently-released video for “Man Down.”

Rihanna shows off her curves

She's no stranger to showing off her body in risque outfits on stage.

But last night Rihanna decided to push the boundaries of everyday fashion as she went for dinner wearing a sheer knitted roll neck which left little to the imagination.

The 23-year-old singer failed to maintain any modesty in the top as she was also going bra-less for the occasion.

Rihanna teamed the top with a matching skirt as she headed to the Telus Theater in Montreal, Canada, where she was apparently paid an astonishing $100,000 for a two-hour appearance in the club.
The California King Bed singer had flown into Montreal over the weekend to watch the Canadian Grand Prix.

And her number one song Umbrella was never more appropriate as when Rihanna got caught in a downpour during a dramatic day of Formula 1 racing.

Rihanna Tweets 'Special Thank' to PTC for Making 'Man Down' Video Popular

Rihanna's controversial music video for her single "Man Down" recently became the most-viewed clip on YouTube. Knowing that she owed it to Parents Television Council for the success, RiRi tweeted her "special thank" to the watchdog group over the weekend while she's on the road.

"Man Down is the most viewed video on youtube this week! Special thx to PTC and RihannaNavy," the "Battleship" actress wrote on Saturday, June 11. Later in the day, the songstress added another post, "RiRiLovers+RiriHaters...u all made this a success!!! And I truly thank u!"
In a series of longer tweets, she elaborated, "I bring the clip to u, and u take over from there! And I love that u love them! And I love u guys even more... there's video/movie/TV world and there's real life!" For those who understand the message behind the clip, she stated, "I'm just impressed that u kids know the difference! Keep it up to every girl/boy empowered by this....u are the real winners here!"

The "Man Down" music video drew controversy due to its violent closure which sees Rihanna gunning down the man who raped her. PTC argued the murder scene could mislead the rape victims to do something violent instead of seeking help and reporting the assault to the authority.

Despite the complaint, Rihanna insisted her fans understood the "underlying" message of the music video. She additionally said, "In making that into a mini-movie or a video, we needed to go back to why it happened, because obviously she's not a cold-blooded killer...and we decided to hone in on a very serious matter that people are afraid to address."

Directed by Anthony Mandler and filmed in Jamaica, the video was viewed over 17 million people by Friday, June 10 and got additional 3 million views by Sunday.

Rihanna 'still wants Cheryl Cole collaboration'

Rihanna is adamant that she would like to work with Cheryl Cole soon, despite the former X Factor judge's recent US career setback, reports say.

The 'Man Down' singer is allegedly clearing her schedule so she can fly to LA to go into the recording studio with Cole and give her the American welcome she should have received first time around.

"Rihanna called Cheryl and told her she's going to call on all her contacts and they should do their planned duet sooner rather than later," a source told Look magazine.
"What's more, she reckons Cheryl should face the music and come to stay with her in LA - she's determined to give her the amazing American experience she should have had all along."

Cole recently insisted that she feels better off out of The X Factor and that it was never her ambition to try to crack the US.

Rihanna Calls Fan A 'C*nt' After Late Night Food Incident

Rihanna was in Canada this weekend as part of her 'Loud' tour and following one of her shows in Montreal, the star went on the hunt for late-night munchies but it didn't end well as she has called one of her fans a 'c*nt'.

The star was alerted to a Twitter followers distress after Rihanna managed to bump into the girl and her friends during her quick visit to a McDonalds.
But the fan had got the 23-year-old's attention by tweeting: "Rhianna in the housee at McDonalds LOL, she's actually a rude stank girl. Such a shame for pretty girl! *Bitcch Dowwn*"

She also added: "Why you stormin out and bumpin in to ppl at McDonalds @rihanna ?? Not very nice of you, come to our city and act up!"

In response to Rihanna's tweet, @MulaSquared wrote: "LOL @rihanna Just saying, just trying to get some food & I'm pretty sure you know when you bump into some one, look who's sensitive now :)"

Rihanna tweeted the insult to one of her staunch fans to explain why she was in the fast food restaurant in the first place, she tweeted: "@iStan4Rihanna_ to peep at the menu b4 I "bumped into" these cunts, lol"

But RiRi didn't stop there, as she got involved in another Twitter war with a Beyonce fan, as she wrote: "@BeyFierceIV F*CK u C*NT!!!! #unclassyNavy". Since then, in support of the Beyonce fan, several other Twitter users have revealed that they have now stopped following the 'S&M' singer.

Rihanna performs lap dance on female fan at Miami show

The 23-year-old performed a raunchy and overtly sexualised lap dance on a female fan who was brought on stage during a tour stop at Miami's Mariner Arena over the weekend.

Wearing a revealing white bondage leotard, the S&M songstress aggressively pushed the woman back before straddling her and thrusting her body over the bemused woman.

Two shirtless men brought the woman on stage and placed her on the edge of a round platform.

Rihanna then opened up one of the women's legs and pushed the other leg open with her knee.
She then shoved the woman back so she is laying flat and jumped on top of her, straddling the woman between her legs and pinning her down.

The self-titled "rock star" then gyrated provocatively on the woman, giving her a lap dance to her song Skin from her new album Loud.

After the explicit dance, Rihanna then laid down next to the woman as the round stage revolved and went down, taking the two of them below the platform as the crowd continued to go wild.

The video was captured by a fan in the crowd who posted it on YouTube.

Rihanna has a history of highly-sexualised and provocative performances and also took it to another level during her Baltimore, Maryland performance on Saturday night.

She got temperatures rising as she slipped into a revealing pair of hot-pants and a bra and thrusted her way through her songs with some of her most risque dance moves yet.

Rihanna, 50 Cent seek bone marrow for kid

Jun 6, 2011 - Singers Rihanna and 50 Cent have teamed up to help a struggling couple save their ailing baby daughter who is in dire need of bone marrow transplant.

One-year-old Ayelet Galena suffers from a rare life-threatening congenital disorder.

Rihanna and 50 Cent were so touched by the young girl's plight that they immediately signed up for a blood test to determine if they could be donors.

Both have also called on their fans to follow suit, reports dailystar.co.uk.
"Can you help me find a lifesaver for baby Ayelet and other patients? Get swabbed (tested) because maybe YOU can save a life!" Rihanna posted on microblogging site Twitter.

"Gossip Girl" actress Leighton Meester, rapper Pharrell Williams and rock band Linkin Park have also lent their star power to the campaign to save the little girl.

The evolution of Rihanna

June 6, 2011 - Around this time last year, things did not look good for Rihanna's Last Girl On Earth tour. Ticket sales were slow, and at least six shows were cancelled.

Part of the problem was the economic downturn, and the Barbados-born R&B starlet certainly wasn't the only artist to feel its effects. Neither was she one to sit back and wait for better days. Instead, Robyn Rihanna Fenty took action, showing the same single-minded ambition that propelled her from Caribbean beauty queen to international recording artist. Over the past year, the feisty 23-year-old did everything in her power to ensure her popularity.

Over the past year, the feisty 23-year-old did everything in her power to ensure her popularity.

How Rihanna does it

Since she first appeared on the music scene back in 2005, Barbadian singer Rihanna has captivated audiences with her hit songs and more often than not risque attire.

But even when she divides opinion when it comes to her clothes, everyone is in agreement that the four times Grammy winner is a beautiful woman, who can rock many different make-up looks.

So we asked Wendy Coleman, owner of Relaxed and Waxed beauty salon in Kettering, to give us her expert advice when it comes to one of Rihanna’s recent red carpet looks.

Wendy said: “Rihanna has a flawless base, this can be achieved by having an airbrushed foundation base, this will initially even out the skin tone and conceal much better than using ordinary foundations.

“It is a long stay silicone base which sits on top of the skin rather than sinking into it.
“Airbrushed bronzer is then sprayed all over to give a warmer, healthy glow and rose pink blush finishes the base, a good tip is to smile while applying the blusher.

“Rihanna’s eyebrows are perfectly shaped to lift and draw attention to the eye area.

“ To recreate these gorgeous eyes, firstly apply black kohl eyeliner around the whole inner rim of the eye above and below, and right into the corners, as this will frame the eye.

“Then highlight the eye by using a light slightly pink shadow, apply this over the lower lid taking it all the way to and past the inner corner of the eye, and sweep a little above.

“Use a cream shade over the rest of the upper area to the brow line.

“ Then a medium brown shadow is used on the eye socket area.

“Apply black liquid eyeliner to the top lid, and finally add lashings of lengthening mascara on upper and lower lashes to finish the eyes off to perfection.

“For the lips, apply a subtle rose lip liner, blend in and use a clear high shine lip gloss all over to complete this look.”

It takes Allsorts, Rihanna

The clobber, worn in Baltimore on the first date of her Loud world tour over the weekend, appears to be made from Liquorice Allsorts and Tutti Fruttis.

Later in the gig she spanked female dancers with a cane and gave a shocked female fan a lapdance.

Rihanna plays V Festival in August, performing just below her mucker EMINEM on the bill.

Sweet shops in Chelmsford and Staffordshire should start stocking up now.

Rihanna Got Dragged Into a Racial-Discrimination Lawsuit Against Gucci

6 June, 2011 - Former Gucci employee Josephine Robinson has sued the label for $5 million in damages after she was allegedly fired for complaining about racist remarks she endured while working there as a tax lawyer. Robinson's suit also states that Gucci's international tax counsel Stan Sherwood (her former boss) ordered her to reduce Rihanna's payment for her Gucci Tattoo Heart ad campaign when he found out the singer wasn't a U.S. resident.

According to court documents, "When Sherwood discovered that Rihanna was from a Caribbean island, he told Robinson to ‘tax the hell out of her’ and find a way to allow Gucci to withhold 30 percent of her fee." A Gucci spokeswoman called the accusations "baseless."

Two Most Recent Sides of Rihanna: Which One Rocks Your Boat?

6 June, 2011 - Pop starlet, Rihanna, is the new voice of skincare product, Nivea in accordance with the brand’s “100 Years Skincare for Life”. Markus Pinger, a member of Nivea’s board stated:

“Over the past 100 years, Nivea has been an iconic skincare brand across the world that is built on the trust of our consumers. We are excited to have Rihanna supporting us in our celebration and building a new generation of fans.”

Rihanna’s Summer 2011 LOUD World Tour is also sponsored by Nivea.
Now on to her other side, Rihanna debuted her newest video for her new hit “Man Down” just a few days ago and we feel it’s a lot darker than her previous videos. It tells a story about a girl who likes a guy but ended up being physically (or sexually?) abused. Sounds familiar? It might be eerily similar to what Rihanna had with her ex, Chris Brown, however we are happy to say that Chris Brown only ended up in court instead of being shot in the head like the guy in the video. Watch the video here. (Read about Chris Brown’s GMA reaction to Rihanna questions.)

So tell us, readers, do you like the squeaky-clean Rihanna, or do you like her ‘dark’ personality better?
