Rihanna can't sleep after Haiti tragedy

Rihanna has been having sleepless nights thinking about the Haitian orphans.

The pop star - who is from the Caribbean island of Barbados - has been left extremely distressed by the earthquakes which have hit Haiti leaving tens of thousands of people dead or injured.

Appearing on Oprah Winfrey's TV talk show, Rihanna said: "Often in a tragedy like this, it's the children who suffer the most. They have no way to get food, they're helpless. The children are the future."

Rihanna’s boyfriend has violent past

Barbadian singer Rihanna seems to attract trouble, as her new boyfriend has been revealed to have a “violent and abusive” past. Rihanna, 21, is currently dating LA Dodgers star Matt Kemp, and an ex-girlfriend of his, actress Felisha Terrell, 30, has revealed his violent past and claims that she took a restraining order out against him in June 2008.

“He is violent and I am afraid. He is threatening to take all the items I purchased and try to destroy my property,” The Mirror quoted her as saying. “He brings his friends driving up and down the street to try and intimidate me. I am very fearful. He has other people calling me and stalking me,” she added. agencies

Rihanna Joins ‘Hope for Haiti Now’ Telethon

With celebrities from far and wide reaching out to help those in need following the massive earthquake in Haiti on Jan. 12, Rihanna has been added to the list of volunteers as she gets set to perform at the Hope for Haiti Now Telethon on Friday.

After becoming upset with, “great sadness,” for the people of Haiti, Rihanna sat down with Fredrik Skavlan on an Oslo talk show to express her grief, especially seeing as though her native hometown of Barbados is not far off.

Additionally, fans can access music samples, a Rihanna biography and photo library, and, when available, information on Rihanna's forthcoming 2010 tour. The App content is unavailable elsewhere and is regularly updated for fans.
