Rihanna has been blasted by Twitter users after posting a four-letter rant on the social networking site.

The What's My Name singer, who reached over 3 million followers on the website yesterday, posted the rude four-letter word to one of her celebrity friends after he compared her to a cartoon dog on MTV.US rapper KATT tweeted RiRi saying: "Watchin clifford the big red dog =) somehow im reminded of @Rihanna idk (I don't know) why tho."

The Rude Boy hitmaker responded with a foul-mouthed outburst, posting on her official Twitter page: "LMAO (Laughing my a*** off), Katt u lil c***."

According to The Sun, Rihanna's reply caused outrage amongst some of her fans, with one of the Barbadian beauty's followers stating: "Rihanna is a role model to millions of young, impressionable kids."

Rihanna Sorts Out “Bad Neighbor” Drama

She’s one of the most-loved ladies in pop music, but Rihanna's neighbor has anything but adoration for her.

Christian Moeller, who lives next door to the “Take a Bow” songstress filed a lawsuit against her for being a “bad neighbor.”

Moeller sued Ri-Ri and her landlord Stephen Yacobian for excessive chauffeurs sitting outside, as well as Rihanna’s bamboo plants that he claimed were obstructing his view of the city.However, according to Radar the suit, filed in June of 2009, has been settled, though none of the details have been disclosed.

Rihanna lesbian fling hinted at by author

You probably haven’t heard the name Natajah Burton before, but you could be hearing a lot more of her in the near future. She’s set to release A Low Down Dirty Shame, a tell-all memoir in which she not-so-subtly suggests she had an affair with pop star Rihanna.

Although Burton never explicitly names names, an excerpt from the book does mention a “Barbadian pop R & B artist” with whom the writer allegedly engaged in a fling.“A friend of mine introduced me to this Barbadian pop R & B artist a while ago,” reads the excerpt, obtained by Mediatakeout.com. “I had heard her music numerous times and was a fan of her unique sound. I jokingly told him I wanted to talk to her. He told me on the sly that he wasn’t sure she was into women but that he would confirm.”

Burton then goes into some pretty explicit detail about their relationship, claiming she had an “instant connection” with the singer and that “sex came up immediately, she was a freak.” (Read the not-safe-for-work excerpt here.) The affair allegedly ended because their respective schedules were too hectic.

In an interview with Radar Online, Burton again refused to name names, but credited the mystery woman with inspiring her to write her memoir.

“[She was] one of the reasons I started writing my book – she was that voice, that light into my life,” Burton said, adding that she wants to become a role model for homosexual youths of colour. “Young black gays don’t have any positive role models to look up to. White kids have Ellen and Rosie O’Donnell, but black kids don’t have anyone. There is still so much homophobia in the African American community, and it is beyond tough to come out – when I did I was called all manner of names, I had guys throwing condoms at me in the street, I was called fa***t, carpet muncher, I was told I was going to hell.”

According to Burton, her book will also detail her relationships with “a very well known actress, a lot older, who also worked as a model” and a “well known female reality TV star.” A Low Down Dirty Shame is due for release in March.

Singer Rihanna is reportedly being considered for the judging panel of the US version of 'The X Factor'. According to Look magazine, a source said: "To get her on the show would give it real star power."

"Nicole Scherzinger and Cheryl Cole are also being considered for places on the judging panel, because they've got a proven track record of being great judges, but that doesn't rule Rihanna out."

"She has a massive appeal and a real edge to her. Simon knows she wouldn't be afraid to give her opinion."

Instead of picking a sexy photo for the cover, she debuts a blurry image of her, fully clothed, wearing a huge necklace and big curly red hair. "S & M" is a single lifted off Rihanna's latest album "Loud". She has shot a music video for it earlier this month and gave a sneak peek of the theme by releasing a picture. "I'm great! Had a fantastic weekend shooting my best/favorite video EVER!!!!" Rihanna tweeted. Melina Matsoukas who directed the video of "Rude Boy" is also in charge for this one.

Rihanna's New Album 'Loud' Edging For Platinum Status in The U.S.

She may have had a slow start but her consistency has had her back all the way. Pop/R&B superstar Rihanna’s fifth studio album ‘Loud’ has shipped over a million copies in the U.S. and will probably snag a platinum certification in the coming weeks.

Happy about the album’s success, Rihanna tweeted “Thank you #RihannaNavy for being so sexy and makin #LOUD platinum in the U.S.”
‘Loud,’ which debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 album chart with a little over 200K units sold, has moved upwards of 830,000 copies in the U.S. The music video for the third single, ‘S&M,’ which will premiere soon, will definitely add a boast to her sales.

Not Tempted To Work With Rihanna

R&B star Rihanna was given a cold shoulder by drum and bass duo Chase And Status after they chose not to include her in their new album.

The 'Take me Away' hitmakers, who had worked with Rihanna on her 'Rated R' album, said that they wanted their new album to be thoroughly a British affair and so decide to leave her out, reported Daily Star.

"There was talk about working with Rihanna and other names linked to Roc Nation but we weren't tempted. We wanted the album to showcase fresh and cutting-edge UK talent," said Saul 'Chase' Milton.

The duo is known to be working with new artists like Plan B and Clare Maguire.

"We're known for working with new artists such as Plan B and that's what really excites us. On the album we've worked with Clare Maguire who just has this amazing voice and will appeal to everyone Mali, Delilah and Tempa T, all of whom are wicked," added Milton, 29.

But there is one US superstar lurking in the tracklist - Cee-Lo Green, 36.

"Admittedly Cee-Lo isn't British but he sings on a track called Brixton Briefcase, which is about London in the 80s when guys used to walk around with ghetto blasters on their shoulders," said Milton.

Rihanna Bags Third International Female Nomination at 2011 BRIT Awards

Rihanna has once again received a recognition from BRIT Awards. On Thursday, January 13, the "Only Girl (In the World)" hitmaker was unraveled to be a nominee for International Female Solo Artist at the U.K.'s annual music awards this year. It is her third time being nominated for the category since 2008. The 22-year-old Barbadian singer lost the title to Kylie Minogue in 2008, and has to admit defeat to Lady GaGa in 2010. This year, she is facing stiff competition from two previous winners, Kylie and Katy Perry, four-time nominee for the title Alicia Keys, and "Indestructible" singer Robyn.

Out of those five nominees, Katy was the only one collecting more than one nod. She bagged International Album nod for her "Teenage Dream" effort. It puts her in direct competition Eminem, who also vies for International Male Solo Artist, as well as Arcade Fire, Cee-Lo Green and Kings of Leon.

The nomination of this year's BRIT Awards itself was dominated by U.K. rising star Tinie Tempah. They rapper collected four noms; British Male Solo Artist, British Breakthrough Act, British Single for "Pass Out" and British Album of the Year for "Disc-Overy". He described the news "one of the biggest days of my life".

The list of nominees were announced by Fearne Cotton at the Brit Awards' official launch party, which will be broadcast on ITV2 at 8 P.M. on Friday, January 14. Taking place at London's Indigo2, it saw Tinie, Ellie Goulding, %The and Jessie J perform. Winners will be revealed in a live ceremony hosted by James Corden on February 15 at London's The O2.

The singer was spotted leaving the Beverly Hills hotel in a daringly short dress yesterday.

The 22-year-old braved the chilly evening dressed in a peach long sleeve frock that was cut-out at the sides, exposing her toned waist. The low-cut back of the dress also revealed her back, where she sports a smattering of star tattoos. She paired the simple look with a pair of Christian Louboutin stilettos.
Rihanna is known for taking a risk with her fashion choices. Proud of her body, the Bajan singer often enjoys showing off her dangerous curves. She has also recently sported a new sleek straightened hair do'.
The 22-year-old showed the new look as she watched the Los Angeles Clippers V Miami Heat basketball game this week. The fashion forward star is about to grace the cover of American Vogue.

It will be the first time she has been featured in the magazine, considered the 'fashion bible' around the world. The photoshoot was shot by famed photographer, Annie Lebowitz who has also photographed the likes of Hollywood actresses Angelina Jolie and Demi Moore, and British model Kate Moss.

R&B recording artist and songwriter Rihanna seems to be interested in a new conquest, Los Angeles Clippers dunking sensation Blake Griffin and she is pulling out all the stops in order to slam dunk the rookie.

Rihanna attended the Clippers Heat game in Los Angeles on Wednesday night and it was obvious that she did not go to the game to see LeBron James or Dwyane Wade as she was flirting with Griffin throughout the game.
After the game she tried to hook up with Griffin and after that did not work out to her liking, she had her management team reach out to his people in an attempt to set up a meet and greet with the potential NBA rookie of the year.

For some reason, everyone's been jib-jabbing like hell about the possibility that Nicki Minaj and Rihanna are going to roommates. I don't know how that is relevant to anything in this world of ours, but, despite oil spills, global warming, the switch on astrological signs, and the upheaval in Tunisia, the living situation of two celebrities is apparently a supreme concern.

Anyway, despite rumor or whatever, Nicki Minaj came to confirm that the rumor is indeed untrue, and that she and Rihanna do not plan on sharing bunkbeds. In an interview with her father, mother, deity, and cognizant designer, better known as MTV, she explained:

"I don't know where people got this really insane, hilarious, random rumor that she and I were living together," she said.Well, I suppose that tweet and picture Rihanna threw out on January 8th was easily misinterpreted. And I quote: "http://twitpic.com/3o9l94 - Me and Nikki in our new crib, lol! Gettin busy on set of FLY!!! Its so hard to keep my hands off!" (remember, these aren't exactly the smartest people in the world).

Rihanna fueled rumors she’s been hitching up with gal pal Nick Minaj Thursday night after she joked that she and her frequent collaborator were “sex partners.”

After leaving dinner with her friends, paparazzi surrounded the “What’s My Name” singer, asking her if they were really more than just friends.

“You’re not really roommates with Nicki Minaj are you?” he asked Rihanna.

“No. We’re just sex partners!” Rihanna joked.

Lesbian rumors between the musical duo seemed to start last month when Minaj said in an interview that Rihanna was the “best fondler ever.” Later, the pair were spotted being cute together as they sent messages back and forth on Twitter.

Take That and Plan B will also be wowing the crowds at the bash on 15 February.

Rihanna's perfume wins PETA's approval

Rihanna's new fragrance has been given the thumbs up by animal rights activists at PETA - they love the scent and the fact the singer has teamed up with a cruelty-free company to create it.

Reb'l Fleur, which will hit store shelves on Jan. 25, was created by Rihanna and the nose experts at Parlux, who have been on PETA's "good list" for refusing to test products on animals.

PETA Senior Vice President Dan Mathews is so impressed by the singer's choice, he sent her a big bouquet of flowers to thank her for putting animals first.He tells WENN, "Rihanna's decision to team up with Parlux is as kind to animals as her music is to your ears. By renouncing animal tests, Parlux is proving that beauty doesn't have to have an ugly side."

Rihanna renew family ties

Rihanna had a falling-out with her father in 2008. Ronald Fenty has had his battles with drugs and booze, and when he turned up drunk and trashed her tour bus, she severed contact. Then he made her even madder by sounding off when reporters came sniffing around in '09 asking about the Chris Brown business.

But the singer seems to have patched things up with him over the Christmas holidays, back home in Barbados. Ronald, who says he's sober now, wasted no time telling reporters about it: "I saw her twice before Christmas and she came to see me on Christmas Day. She showered me with gifts, a lot of stuff, many shirts and cologne. She's always really generous. ... We are blood, we do not stay angry and we are friends again."
