Rihanna Rocks Out in Rio as Katy Perry Cheers From The Audience

As Rihanna rocked out on the Rock in Rio stage, her friend Katy Perry cheered her on from the audience! The “Teenage Dream” singer supported her pal just after she herself took the stage earlier in the night to open up the festival.

Although the two are often head-to-head for the top spot on the charts, they keep a tight friendship and are always cheering each other on! Rihanna tweeted following her performance, writing:

“@katyperry I love you! Had a blast 2nt, missed kickin it witcho CRAY azz.”

Aside from opening up for one of the biggest music festivals in the world, RiRi’s latest single “We Found Love” quickly made its way to the top ten on the iTunes charts. She showed her appreciation to her fans by tweeting: “Btw I just HAVE to say a special Thank You for aaalllll the #MAJAH support on my first single WE FOUND LOVE!!!Hear it on iTunes if u haven’t.”
